Assistant Practice Manager :
The Assistant Practice Manager is a working supervisor that is responsible for supervising all patient services functions; including patient flow, scheduling, check in/out, ensuring the efficient operations of both the front and back office, cover in the absence of the Practice Manager and any other duties as assigned. The Assistant Practice Manager serves as a role model for other office staff and promotes teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement. The Assistant Practice Manager strives to maintain exemplary patient services and satisfaction standards at all times. The Assistant Practice Manager is a highly visible go to person that is responsible for creating a positive impression with patients and visitors.
Clinical Coordinator :
The Clinical Coordinator is a working supervisor or team leader that provides clinical support to the physicians, mid level providers and supervision of clinical employees. The Clinical Coordinator serves as a role model for other clinical employees and promotes teamwork, integrity, and continuous practice improvement. The Clinical Coordinator ensures efficient flow of all patients and strives to maintain exemplary service and satisfaction standards at all times. The Clinical Coordinator is also responsible for compliance with all OSHA/CLIA and HIPAA regulations, and ensuring completion of all duties vital to business operations. Front Office Assistant :
The Front Office Assistant is primarily responsible for collection of accurate demographic and insurance information from patients to facilitate a successful patient revenue cycle. Based on the operations of the practice, this position may be responsible for a variety of duties, including collecting and handling payments, providing customer service, answering phones, completing/filing medical records, test scheduling, referral processing, and other duties as assigned. Phlebotomist/Lab Technician :
The Phlebotomist/Lab Technician provides clinical support to the physician and mid-level providers. The Phlebotomist/Lab Technician provides the venipuncture service to patients as directed by the providers. The Phlebotomist/Lab Technician is also responsible for compliance with all OSHA/CLIA and HIPAA regulations, and ensuring completion of all duties vital to business operations. LPN/RN :
The Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides clinical support to the physician and mid-level providers. The RN or LPN provides instructions to patients as directed by the providers. The RN or LPN is also responsible for compliance with all OSHA/CLIA and HIPAA regulations, and ensuring completion of all duties vital to business operations. The RN/LPN is a highly visible position that is always responsible for creating a positive impression with patients, family members, and other visitors to the office.
Practice Manager I, II, and III :
The Practice Manager is responsible for the management of physician and mid-level provider location(s), including staff supervision, and meeting and/or exceeding organizational goals and objectives relating to operating budget and revenue cycle management.

Manager I:
- Number of providers: 1-2.5
- Yearly revenue: $250,000-$675,000
- Total FTE's: 3-5
Manager II:
- Number of providers: 3-4.5
- Yearly revenue: $675,001-$1,000,000
- Total FTE's: 6-9
Manager III:
- Number of providers: 5+
- Yearly revenue: $1,000,000+
- Total FTE's: 10+
File Clerk/Secondary Claims Processor :
Organization of file room, indexing and filing of Payment Posters batches. Prepares and files all daily claims for secondary payers and logs statistics.
Lockbox Coordinator :
Separate lockbox, log checks into spreadsheet, log credit card deposits into spreadsheet.
Payment Poster :
Post all payments to appropriate patient account in practice management system.
Refund/Overpay Specialist :
Analyzes and responds to refund requests or overpays as indicated by the insurance companies.
